2024 Random Walk (if any):  SLOVENIA!!!!!!!! (w Kev & Jenett)

Hobbies: crocheting, gossiping, rotting, + everything else with Jenett; drinking mocktails and (if desperate) red bull at bars; skiing + apres skiing with Marcus and Kevin; running/fitness classes/long walks/literally anything active; visiting coffee shops; economics podcasts (& sharing them w/Jenett); apprendre Francais; talking about how Slovenia was the best 2024 RW (but ours will be even better)

Fun Facts: 1) was in a TV show with Lily Reinhart; 2) both a test tube baby AND bastard child; 3) can speak fluent gibberish (real language I swear); 4) I’m a citizen of 3 countries (should be 4 like my sister but I can’t because I’m a bastard child, see above); 5) I’m more Irish than Kev (also don’t like potatoes…)

2024 Random Walk (if any):  Slovenia (2024 dream team)

Hobbies: Baseball (watching, reading about) and slow pitch softball (playing), triathlons (aspiring half-Ironman), caring too much about urban planning and public transit, making friends with strangers, sleeping through my alarm, wearing backwards hats and tank tops, learning about Gen Z from Jenett, swing dancing, defending DC and Maryland against slander, putting Old Bay on things it “doesn’t belong on”

Fun Facts: I swam against Katie Ledecky six times my junior year in high school; despite (because of?) my Irish heritage I refuse to eat potatoes; not the Shark Tank guy

Jenett Cheng

2024 Random Walk (if any):  Slovenia (ask any of us about our adventures canyoning)

Hobbies: Big fan of rotting, either on my couch, by the Chicago river, or by the lake (usually with Fay) BUT more productive hobbies include: reading, crochet, listening to podcasts, going to concerts, defending New Jersey (mainly against Kevin), at home karaoke (with Marcus!!)

Fun Facts: I’ve been on the Chicago Architecture Boat Tour more than a dozen times!!, only learned how to bike properly only after I moved to Chicago (why I’m making that face in my photo), studied abroad in Hong Kong in undergrad, never took a math or science class in college (I tried taking calc 2 and dropped out after the first class)

2024 Random Walk (if any):  No, but I did my own “random walk”- I worked in the ski resorts in New Zealand for a month

Hobbies: Basketball (destroyed both my knees but ball is life), Triathlons (went from non-swimmer to completing an Ironman in a year!), Snowboarding (loves gnarly off-piste runs), Cooking for potlucks (challenge me to recreate a famous dish), Photography (I make awesome trip reels)

Fun Facts: Looking forward to visiting the last continent on my list in 2025 - Antarctica! My childhood ambition was to be a pilot, but my motion sickness failed me… I once slept in a car for a week in Yellowstone National Park but I saw the most amazing sunrises.
